Making Progress on Projects from From My Carolina Home

I’ve noticed that my blogging is not as prolific as it once was, and I am posting fewer times in a week. So many other bloggers I read have just stopped posting altogether, so I am not spending as much time reading blogs, and I miss that. Working on a Quilt Border from From My Carolina Home

Sewing is just more fun with friends, even if they are on my computer screen. I can still hear their voices and see their faces, and we all get a lot done. I’ve been hosting virtual sew days for several small groups, and I enjoy them all. This time I was working on a border for my To The Nines quilt, sewing patches into units of six to complete the angled rows into the border.

Snow, Virtual Quilting and Football!! from From My Carolina Home

Two fun things in one weekend, we got a couple of inches of snow on Friday, just in time to hunker down for Wild Card Weekend. Before the snow came, a new visitor came to sample the handouts. Apparently, Oliver has a buddy. The second little guy has been here before, but not as consistently as Oliver. I can only tell them apart by where they choose to eat their treats. I know it isn’t Jack, as he always goes to the other side of the house to munch down his tidbit.
